CBS Sports Network’s continuing coverage of the 2024 college football season brings three games for the Week 4 schedule, all included in a Saturday tripleheader. Two of the three service academies are in action, with Army getting things kicked off at noon against Rice.
The Black Knights are currently tied with Navy atop the American Athletic Conference standings after picking up a win over FAU a couple weeks ago. This will be the first conference game of the year for Rice, which went 1-2 in an all in-state non-conference slate that included the likes of Houston and Sam Houston.
Then at 3:30 p.m. Memphis travels to Navy as the Tigers look to keep momentum rolling from their road win against Florida State. This will be Memphis’ first big test in the AAC. Ryan Silverfield’s squad is eyeing a conference championship game appearance for the first time in his tenure, but there’s a long road to go before that.
