Games, support, and solidarity: Omega Baptist Church hosts local foster kids block party

DAYTON, Ohio (WKEF) — A special community day for foster children and their families was held on Saturday, September 21 at the Haines Children’s Center.

The day was a joint effort between Omega Baptist Church’s Social Justice Ministry and Montgomery County Children’s Services. There were games, food, bouncy houses, a video game truck and more.

Reverend Carrlo Heard, and his wife Kendra Heard, have proudly partnered with Montgomery County Children’s Services for three years and the block party is the just newest extension of their teamwork…
