No. 19 Louisville needed scores from its offense, defense and special teams before it could hold off visiting Georgia Tech, 31-19, on Saturday at L&N Stadium. The Cardinals improved to 3-0 overall, 1-0 in ACC play, with the visitors dropping to 3-2 and 1-2.
Quarterback Tyler Shough threw a pair of touchdowns, while defensive lineman Ramon Puryear scored a touchdown on a fumble recovery and Tayon Holloway capping the day’s scoring when he blocked a 50-yard field goal attempt, scooped the ball up and raced for the touchdown.
