BATON ROUGE, La. ( KLFY ) — An off-duty Louisiana State Trooper was charged with battery following a fight at today’s LSU vs. UCLA football game, authorities said.
During the game, police responded to a disturbance in the stands and discovered that a physical altercation occurred between the off-duty trooper and two men. Further investigation revealed that the off-duty trooper, identified as 30-year-old Artellus Bellard of Lake Charles, initiated the physical battery following a verbal argument, officials said.
