KC high school honors those lost to Vietnam War with special dedication

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – A Kansas City high school took time over the weekend to honor classmen who never made it home from the Vietnam War with a special dedication.

North Kansas City High School says that on Saturday, Sept. 21, it proudly announced the dedication of its new Wall of Heroes. The event honored the courage and sacrifice of students who gave their lives during the Vietnam War.

School officials noted that Superintendant Dr. Rochel Daniels and Jim Sager, NKCHS graduate and Vietnam Veteran, have shown their dedication to the fallen heroes through a collaborative effort. Their commitment led to the lasting tribute, unveiled during a special ceremony…
