If Muscle Shoals was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Decatur last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Muscle Shoals Trojans fell just short of the Bayside Academy Admirals by a score of 2-1 on Saturday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Trojans of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair’s previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2018.
In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Muscle Shoals sadly dropped the once that decided the match. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 21-25, 16-14.
