LYnden Christian falls to Okanogan 36-22

LYNDEN — Lynden Christian football fell to Okanogan 26-22 on Sept. 21 at Lynden Christian High School and fell to 1-2. 

The Lyncs drew first blood in the first quarter with a 90-yard touchdown pass from junior quarterback Eli Maberry to junior wide receiver Boyce Robertson. Okanogan scored three touchdowns in the second quarter and LC trailed 22-14 at halftime. 

The Lyncs tied the game in the third quarter on a 51-yard fumble return touchdown by junior linebacker Cole Larson. The Bulldogs pulled away in the fourth quarter with two rushing touchdowns and made the four-hour drive back to the northeast corner of the state with their third win of the season.
