MARJORIE MAXINE SPREEN REGIER August 10, 1925 – September 11, 2024 Margie was born in Paradise, CA in 1925 and survived some of the most challenging historical events in US history from the Great Depression, World War II, and the worldwide Covid pandemic. Margie and her husband of 72 years, Alfred James Regier, who preceded her in death by 5 years, shared a wonderful life participating in the Chico Community. Their loving relationship began when Dad saw her across the water at the One-mile Dam and made his way over the bridge to introduce himself. They were life-long members of the Chico Elks Club and Butte Creek Country Club. Together they owned and operated the Sno-White Drive-In located where Nash’s is now located. Even today, people speak of the famous apple spice donuts he and his mother, Tena Regier, created.
