Temple Sholom’s Norma Perlstein Social Action Committee is actively involved with coordinating efforts to fulfill the mitzvah of tikkun olam (repairing the world) while supporting the synagogue’s mission of making the world a better and brighter place.
On September 17, volunteers from the committee were joined by Assistant Rabbi Gisel Baler to help prepare a dinner meal donation to Greenwich’s Kids in Crisis, an organization that continues to provide hope for youth and families by providing “emergency shelter and critical services 24/7.”…
