NEW HAVEN, CT (WFSB) – Tweed Airport is taking steps to alleviate noise and traffic concerns in the surrounding residential area ahead of the introduction of Breeze Airways, its second airline.
Under a new voluntary agreement, Breeze Airways will schedule all flights from Tweed to take off after 7 a.m. and land before 10 p.m.
The airline will also operate a fleet of brand-new Airbus A220 aircraft, which are designed to produce significantly less noise—reportedly half the noise footprint of previous-generation planes…
