Bond-funded facilities in use for The Colony

In 2017, per Lewisville ISD, voters approved a bond for a $737 million package that included, among other things, a new district technology center, additional classrooms, security upgrades, and a new multi-purpose athletic facility at The Colony High School.

The activity center for The Colony opened just over a month ago. The facility details over 92,500 square feet of space and includes a 5,500 square-foot football press box. The activity center has features galore, resembling that of a college facility after receiving a walkthrough with head football coach and athletic director Rudy Rangel.
