GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — A walk held in Grand Rapids Sunday aimed to bring awareness during National Ovarian Cancer Month.
The 12th annual Michigan Ovarian Cancer Alliance one-mile walk/run was held at Millennium Park. Called the “Shake Your Teal Feathers: Sundae Stroll,” the event culminated with a sundae bar at the finish line.
The walk raised money for ovarian cancer awareness and research.
