Penguins Seize Lead After First Round of Roseann Schwartz Invitational

Boardman, Ohio — The Youngstown State women’s golf team holds a five-stroke lead following Sunday’s first round of the 10th annual Roseann Schwartz Invitational at Mill Creek Golf Course.

The Penguins posted a single-round team score of 292 on Sunday to seize a five-stroke advantage over second-place Purdue Fort Wayne heading into Monday’s second and final round. In addition, a pair of Penguins find themselves in the top five on the individual leaderboard.
