Auburn should be 4-0 and probably ranked in the lower part of the Top 25. Maybe it would be if second-year head coach Hugh Freeze had spent a huge amount of NIL money to get a proven transfer quarterback.
But had he done that, the extremely talented class of true freshmen and the class that is committed to sign in December might not be on the roster or committed. So it is in the time of NIL.
