No. 3 Warriors Escape Garden City with 5-4 win over Adelphi

GARDEN CITY, N.Y. – Despite holding a 44-12 edge in shots and an 18-5 advantage in shots on goal, No. 3 East Stroudsburg University field hockey was deadlocked with Adelphi in the fourth quarter before Kayla Minkon registered the game-winning goal with just over three minutes remaining, lifting the Warriors to a 5-4 victory on Sunday afternoon at Motamed Field.
