Pastors on Patrol looking for RV to help expand outreach in Albany

On Wednesday Albany Police Chief Eric Hawkins announced he will be leaving for another job in Warren, Michigan, ending a 6-year tenure. It’s the longest a Police Chief has served in Albany in decades.

Bishop Avery Comithier, who works as a Chaplain for the Police Department and in Pastors on Patrol, says he isn’t sure why the turnover is what it is, but he’s hoping the next Chief continues to support the efforts he and of the Elijah Missionary Baptist Church moving forward…
