GLENDALE, Ariz. — The Detroit Lions are playing without their best linebacker. They might have to finish the game without their most versatile linebacker, too.

Derrick Barnes has been carted to the locker room after sustaining a knee injury in Sunday’s game against the Arizona Cardinals. Barnes has already played five positions this season, and was expected to play an even bigger role in Arizona because Alex Anzalone is not in uniform because of a brain injury.

With two of their top linebackers out of the game, the Lions turned to Jack Campbell, Malcolm Rodriguez and Ben Niemann in the second quarter…
