If anyone thought Bryce Young still had a chance to lead the Carolina Panthers this season, Andy Dalton quickly eliminated that possibility.
In only one drive, Dalton led the offense to a smooth TD and made fans forget that the organization even drafted a failed QB at No. 1 overall in the 2023 NFL Draft. Young clearly doesn’t have a place on this team any longer, and Dalton looks ready to lead the offense moving forward.
Carolina has been crisp, smooth and efficient, qualities that the team didn’t show once with Young under center.
The Panthers didn’t have a first-half touchdown in their first two games this season and four straight games overall. They have two today. They had 1 first-half touchdown in their previous 10 games dating back to last season.
