GREENSBORO, N.C. — The unseasonably warm temperatures did little to disrupt the festivities in downtown Greensboro on Sunday, as thousands of people attended the Greensboro Pride Festival.
The Pride Festival is put on annually by Alternative Resources of the Triad (ART), a nonprofit organization that is 100% volunteer operated, according to the event’s website.
“You’re accepted everywhere,” said attendee Savannah Kennedy. “And that doesn’t happen if you’re walking down like downtown on a regular (day), you get weird looks and here you look amazing.”…
