PITTSBURGH — Clouds are increasing with rain showers arriving likely around or just after midnight. Scattered showers will be around for the morning commute with intermittent showers through the day Monday. We intermittent showers to start Tuesday with heavier rain likely around for the evening commute. Rainfall totals just from Monday and Tuesday could reach one inch area wide with the potential for locally higher amounts. Rain will begin to end on Wednesday with isolated showers. We will dry to dry out Thursday, although that will fully be dependent on where an upper low to our southwest sits and if moisture from potentially Isaac reaches this far north. Right now, that is unlikely, but we will continue to monitor.
Temperatures will be pretty steady in the lower 70s thanks to clouds and rain until Thursday. We dry out with highs in the middle and upper 70s into the final weekend of September.
