Texas Photography Festival holds a pop-up at George H.W. Bush Library & Museum

COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KBTX) – People had an opportunity to learn about the history of George H.W. Bush in a unique way at the George H.W. Bush Library & Museum on Saturday.

The Texas Photography Festival hosted a pop-up event there. The event featured President George H.W. Bush’s Chief White House Photographer, David Valdez, plus U.S. Air Force and “Thunderbirds” photographer Chris Allen as speakers. They shared stories as well as photos from their time serving under the former president. Valdez also led a photo walk.

Valdez said he founded the Texas Photography Festival about five years ago in Georgetown and started doing pop-up events…
