WEST MONROE, La. (KNOE) – The owner of Coney Island Connection, Chris Lewis held a fundraiser to donate to families and children in need on Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Chris Lewis donated half of the proceeds from their chili dog sales to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. He says he wanted to do something for others that would have a lasting impact.
” I understand how it feels for parents to struggle to afford the hospital bills and transportation when their child is not well. When my daughter was born she had to spend ninety days in the hospital.
