KIEL — Lakeside Lutheran’s boys soccer team went 2-1 to place third at Saturday’s Kiel Invitational.
The Warriors (5-4-1) started the day with a 2-0 win over Manitowoc Lincoln, then fell 2-0 to Kiel before topping Monroe, 1-0.
“It felt good to walk away with two wins today in the heat while missing some key players,” Lakeside assistant boys soccer coach Phil Dretske said. “Manitowoc Lincoln and Kiel kept us on our toes with very physical play.”…
