Jake Fette, a four-star national top-15 2026 quarterback prospect out of El Paso (Texas) Del Valle HS, announced his commitment to Arizona State on Sunday in a major development that could serve as a springboard for the team’s recruiting efforts in the class.
Fette, the first 2026 recruit to commit to the Sun Devils, is the No. 153 overall prospect in the class and the No. 13 quarterback on the 247Sports Composite, which also ranks him as the No. 18 prospect in Texas in the class. He is the No. 195 overall recruit and No. 14 quarterback as evaluated independently by 247Sports analysts.
As a sophomore last season, the 6-foot-0, 190-pound Fette was credited with completing 139 of his 225 (61.8 percent) passing attempts for 2,465 yards with 27 touchdowns and five interceptions for a team that finished the season 9-2.
