(Fayette, Mo.)- The Peru State Bobcats traveled to Fayette, Missouri to take on the #18 Central Methodist Eagles. The Bobcats fell 0-3 in the matchup. The Bobcats are now 5-11 overall and 1-3 in the Heart of America Conference.
Raevyn Russel started out the matchup with the first kill in the first set. Kills from Kalolaine Pasikala and Kalyssa Fox help the Bobcats keep the set close. Blocks from Elli Williams and Raevyn Russel and a kill from Russel push the Bobcats continue going point for point with the Eagles. Through the Bobcats efforts, the Eagles pulled away with a lead and took set one 25-14.
In set two, Raevyn Russel started off the Bobcats with a kill, followed by a kill from Elli Williams. The Bobcats struggled as the Eagles began to pull away with an early lead.
