WASHINGTON ( DC News Now ) — One unplanned stop for a U.S. Postal Service worker turned into a lucky strike, winning $1 million!

One U.S. Postal Service worker from Washington D.C. usually makes his way across state lines to play Maryland Lottery scratch-offs. On an unexpected trip to the 7-Eleven on Solomons Island Road in Harwood, he bought instant tickets.

The USPS worker purchased several games, including the Millionaire’s Club, and went home to unveil his luck.
