LEWES — Beebe Healthcare has added a fourth catheterization lab at the Margaret H. Rollins Lewes Campus, it announced on Sept. 23, after a donation from Thom and Robin Harvey, who contributed $250,000.
The new lab utilizes the latest Philips technology to improve precision, efficiency, and streamlined workflow, Beebe Healthcare announced. These enhance procedural performance and reduce radiation exposure, resulting in faster, safer, and more effective interventions, it also has the latest enhancements in imaging and diagnostic capabilities, enabling clinicians to make informed decisions in real time, it continued.
“Beebe’s highly skilled interventional cardiologists, vascular surgeons, and multidisciplinary care team can improve and save even more lives with this wonderful addition to our Lewes Campus,” Tracy Belcher, director of cardiovascular operations and outpatient infusion said in a release. “Opening a new cardiac catheterization lab offers significant benefits for both the hospital and the community.”…
