Lower Shore Land Trust To Host Guest Bartending Fundraiser

 Berlin, MD, September 2024 – The Lower Shore Land Trust will hold a special Halloween fundraiser, “Haunted Harvest: Pouring for Preservation” in partnership with Burley Oak Brewing Company on Monday, October 28th from 6-8pm. Burley Oak Brewery is generously donating a portion of the proceeds to the Lower Shore Land Trust.

In addition to raffle prizes and live music, attendees can enjoy a Burley Oak brew, poured by celebrity guest bartenders, Secretary of Housing and Community Development, Jake Day and former Lower Shore Land Trust Executive Director, Kate Patton! Attendees are encouraged to come in their Halloween costumes.

Jake Day grew up in and eventually became the Mayor of Salisbury from 2015-2023. In 2023, Governor Wes Moore nominated Day to serve as the Maryland Secretary of Housing and Community Development.
