There were plenty of strong performances this past week but the highlight came on Friday night when the San Marin High football team went up to Petaluma and won a game for the ages.
The Mustangs and Gauchos went back and forth as the game was tied three different times in the second half. Rather than settle for a fourth tie, Casa Grande went for a two-point conversion and got it to take a one-point lead inside the final minute.
