This is certainly not a hot take but the cost of college is not getting any lower. Many students find themselves working multiple jobs or taking on a ridiculous amount of debt to fund their education. It’s enough to deter people from seeking a higher education in the first place.
Of course college is not the path for everyone. Plenty of people go on to have highly successful careers without a higher education but it’s nice to have the option and not feel like you are financially exempt…
