In mid-October, voters across northeast Florida and southeast Georgia will get their first opportunities to cast an early, in-person ballot for the 2024 general election.
In Florida, counties must offer at least eight days of early voting, but some choose to offer more. Georgia counties offer roughly three weeks of early voting, including at least two Saturdays, and possibly Sunday voting.
Voters in Florida and Georgia can also vote by mail, though there are deadlines to request a mail-in ballot. In Florida, that ballot must be requested by October 24, while Georgia voters have until October 25.
