Arrest made in downtown Raleigh shooting that injured man on Fayetteville Street, police say

RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — The Raleigh Police Department on Monday night announced an arrest in connection with a shooting last month that injured a man.

According to Raleigh police, officers responded just before 2:40 a.m. on Aug. 25 to a shooting in the 400 block of Fayetteville Street. They found a man with non-life-threatening gunshot wounds, who was taken to the hospital for treatment.

On Monday, Daniel Hezekiah Anderson, 25, of Knightdale was taken into custody in connection with the shooting, according to Raleigh police. He was apprehended in Cary by Raleigh and Cary police…
