Chiefs Receivers Had Surprising Snap Counts in Win vs. Falcons

The Kansas City Chiefs were able to sneak out another close win to stay undefeated on Sunday night against the Atlanta Falcons.

While the Chiefs are often known for their offense, it was their defense that secured them the victory, as they allowed just three points in the second half.

On offense, receiver Rashee Rice solidified himself as Patrick Mahomes’ top target after he finished with 12 receptions for 110 yards and a touchdown. The offensive snap counts reflect that as well, as Rice led all wide receivers, playing 74 percent of the offensive snaps.

However, the next player behind Rice may surprise some, as veteran JuJu Smith-Schuster had the second-highest snap percentage at receiver with 55 percent. Meanwhile, rookie Xavier Worthy finished the game playing exactly 50 percent of the offense’s snaps…
