BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ( WIAT ) — The Birmingham Public Library is set to hold an event featuring cocktails and tailgate-style food ahead of the Magic City Classic.
According to the BPL, “Let Loose in the Library: Classic Cocktails, a Magic City Classic Kickoff Party” will take place on Oct. 22 at its Central branch. The fundraiser will help library programs occur year-round.

Classic Cocktails will also include a cigar lounge, beer bar and games. Writer, comedian and actor Jermaine “Funnymaine” Johnson will serve as one of the event’s co-hosts.
