West Sacramento firefighter dies in line of duty during training, officials say

WEST SACRAMENTO, Calif. — An 18-year veteran of the West Sacramento Fire Department died in the line of duty on Monday morning, officials said.

Tim Hall, 59, a fire investigator with the fire department, died during a regional training training exercise at UC Davis, the city officials said.

Hall was not injured in a training accident, and his death is “more likely health related,” according to the city.
