Oregon State junior Collin Hodgkinson shattered a school record when he shot a 10-under 61 Monday at The Tindall in Sammamish, Washington.

Playing the par-71, 7,016-yard Aldarra Golf Club, Hodgkinson’s opening-round 61 broke the OSU record by two strokes. Hodgkinson made eight birdies and an eagle during his round.

The previous record was 63, held by Zachary Miller, Alex Moore and Jonas Liebich. Miller shot his 63 earlier in September. Hodgkinson’s 61 was also school’s lowest under par for a round, beating Moore and Liebich’s 9-under scores…
