New Hampshire woman accused of killing 5-year-old son to plead guilty

A Merrimack, New Hampshire, woman accused of killing her 5-year-old son will plead guilty later this week.

Danielle Dauphinais will plead guilty to second-degree murder and two counts of witness tampering in the killing of her son, Elijah Lewis, who was first reported missing nearly four years ago.

According to the plea agreement, Dauphinais would face a sentence of 55 years to life for the second-degree murder charge. She would also receive two sentences of 3.5 to 7 years, which will be served concurrently to each other. Those sentences would be served consecutively, or back-to-back, with the second-degree murder sentence…
