City Vintage & Thrift’s grand opening will fundraise for a larger free store. What to know.

SHEBOYGAN – City Vintage & Thrift, 1131 N. Eighth St., is hosting a grand-opening celebration and fundraiser to support its expanded free store space.

Owner Amy Sittman opened the shop in the former Goodside Grocery Co-Op space last year, realizing what she initially thought was a “pipe dream,” she said. She curates the vintage and thrifted items sold in the store, many “funky” and “weird.”

“I love fashion. I love vintage,” Sittman told the Sheboygan Press last year. “I like to keep things out of the landfill. I like to reduce, reuse, recycle.”…
