Cleveland community leaders shares personal scam stories to help others

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) -The Federal Trade Commission held a round table Tuesday where people shared personal stories about how they fell victims to scams.

They’re hoping by sharing these stories more people will spot a scam early before it’s too late.

So far this year Ohioans have made 30,000 reports of fraud, lost almost 100 million dollars, and made about 15,000 reports of identity theft…
