A Gettysburg College swimmer is no longer enrolled at the school after being one of those accused of carving a racial slur on a teammate, according to the Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission (PHRC) and a spokesperson from the college.
On Sept. 18, the college’s newspaper, The Gettysburgian, reported two students were suspended from the swim team after receiving a “report of a racial slur being scratched onto a student using a plastic or ceramic tool.”…
