Despite concerns after a brazen gun heist in Orangevale last summer, the Folsom Planning Commission last week approved the Loyal Arms gun shop move to Riley Street.
The commission approved the permit during the regular monthly meeting Sept. 18. Loyal Arms has been successful for seven years without incident at a relatively secluded business park on Parkshore Drive in Folsom.
The shop owner, former Aerojet engineer Ricky Gan, needs city approval to operate his gun store at a 1,272 square-foot suite at the Folsom Central Shopping Center anchored by Walmart on Riley Street…
