Woman dies after getting struck by train in Flagstaff

FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. — Police are investigating the death of Danley Bahe after she was hit by a train in east Flagstaff Sept. 10.

At 9:12 p.m., Flagstaff Police Department officers were dispatched to the Mountain Line bus stop on the eastbound 3600 block of East Route 66 after trespassing and possible disturbance.

Bahe departed toward the intersection of East Route 66 and North Fanning Drive. Police said while she was waiting for a westbound train to clear the intersection, Bahe walked outside the crossing area and into the eastbound tracks. The eastbound train approached the intersection, and police said they shouted at Bahe to move from the tracks. Bahe did not respond to warnings, and was hit by the train. She was pronounced dead at the scene by medical personnel…
