Missing elderly Orangeburg woman may be in danger, deputies say

ORANGEBURG COUNTY, S.C. (WCSC) – Orangeburg County deputies are searching for a missing woman who may be in the Charleston or Beaufort areas.

Mary Ham, 79, was last seen around 12:30 a.m. Wednesday, sheriff’s spokesman Richard Walker said. A relative reported her missing just after 9 a.m. from her Hickory Drive home.

Her vehicle is a 2012 Chevrolet Equinox with SC license place 4265LZ. A license plate reader picked up her vehicle between Charleston and Beaufort, Walker said.

“We’re asking that if anyone has seen or heard of this lady’s location to please call us,” Sheriff Leroy Ravenell said. “We want to find her as soon as possible to get her back home safely.”…
