Killeen voter fraud trial delayed for at least the 8th time, hearing set for November

A Killeen man accused of illegally voting in a local municipal election more than five years ago was set to have a jury decide his case this week. However, like at least eight previous trial dates, the trial was canceled.

A status hearing is set for the 82-year-old defendant, Klaus Michael Adam, for Nov. 8, in the 264th Judicial District Court. He was 76 years old on May 4, 2019, when he allegedly cast ballots in three different districts in Killeen, including two districts in which he did not live.
