A man faces a first-degree murder charge in connection with the fatal shooting of a woman at their Denver apartment early Tuesday morning.
According to Denver Police, Tyler Nelson, 30, called 911 shortly after 1 a.m., Tuesday to report a shooting at his residence in the 600 block of South Dayton Street in east Denver.
When police arrived, they found a woman on the floor of the main bedroom with an apparent gunshot wound, according to a probable cause (PC) statement for Nelson’s arrest from Denver Police.
