A winter storm emergency kit should consist of things that will keep you warm, well-fed, hydrated, and keep you in the know of what’s going on, as well as help you get out of snow.

Blankets and warm clothing will help keep you warm and dry if you need to get your car out of the snow or walk anywhere. It’s also important to note that it is safer to stay in your car instead of walking around unless you can see a building near you.
