Medina council approves grant application to fund bump-outs, additional square improvements

MEDINA, Ohio – Earlier this month, council’s finance committee discussed seeking grant funding to install bump-outs at certain points around the square and Sept. 23, council officially passed legislation to do so.

Service Director Nino Piccoli said the city will seek the maximum amount of funding from ODOT, $500,000.

“The total project cost is estimated at $629,000 so the city’s share would be $129,000,” he said…
