Lewisville to hold low-cost animal vaccine event

On Saturday, Oct. 5, the city of Lewisville will partner with the Texas Coalition for Animal Protection (TCAP) to hold a low-cost pet vaccine clinic from 10 a.m. to noon at the Gene Carey Animal Shelter and Adoption Center.

For a reduced fee, dogs can be tested for and given vaccines against Bordetella, canine influenza, DAPPv, heartworms, rabies, Lyme disease and Leptospirosis. Cats can be tested for and given vaccines against FeLV, FHCPCh, FIV and rabies. Other wellness services will be provided at a reduced cost…
