Attorney general’s office investigators arrest two Arkansas men in separate child pornography cases

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Attorney General Tim Griffin said two Arkansas men were arrested this week in a separate investigation tied to pornography involving children.

The first arrest of 25-year-old Sherwood resident Giovanni Ibarra came after an investigation that started with a tip to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children .

Investigators noted that the pornographic material Ibarra is accused of producing involved a toddler. He is facing federal felony charges of production of child pornography, distribution of child pornography and possession of child pornography.

Griffin said in a statement Ibarra was booked into the Pulaski County Regional Detention Facility on Tuesday and released to U.S. Marshals Service custody Wednesday.
