You may have noticed that the local music roundup was missing for the past couple of weeks – I was out of town, staring at a bigger and rougher version of Lake Michigan (the Pacific Ocean). I’m back, and the arrival of autumn has not reduced the musical opportunities in our community. There is jazz (John Moulder and Howard Levy at Studio5), rhythm and blues (Gerald McClendon at the Levy Senior Center), brassy funk (LowDown Brass Band and Sneezy at SPACE) and tons of Americana (Cowboy Junkies and lots more)!
